TabTrade.com - The Honest Breakdown

Tab Trade — What It Is

TabTrade opened in March 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.

That last detail is relevant. It says the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.

TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.

The instrument list: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.

The Software

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from a single account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, automated trading, massive community. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Many people find it more natural once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That will be a good addition once it is live.

Costs

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Works for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at a much wider range.

Should you care? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That says what kind of broker this is.

Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get is strong. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.

The FSRA Question

Now, the thing that requires honesty. TabTrade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does inform your assessment.

The deal: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off is worth it depends on you.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You fund your account, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before you deposit.
