TabTrade — The Short Version
Tab Trade went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection matters. It means the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. Still better than a founder with no industry background.
They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities institutional desks use. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade went the other way. Not the typical playbook.
The instrument list: FX, indices, gold, silver, commodities, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. A wide spread. For a broker this new, that coverage is not narrow.
Platforms
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and web trading. Both platforms from the same login. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Getting both is useful. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. Many people find it more natural after comparing.
FIX API is available for automated strategies but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That will be a good addition when it arrives.
What You Pay
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. $0 to start. Good for people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not something the average person. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.
Execution Speed
The speed is the area where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers operate at a much wider range.
Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the setup is serious. That says what kind of broker this is.
Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
Now, the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If that makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not bother with Equinix connectivity. That does not guarantee anything. It does factor into your decision.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that makes sense comes down to your priorities.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual sign-up bonus. You put money in, the broker top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
